SWIT SIXTEEN

YAY! im 16! hehe my first blog post as a 16 year old! :D and you're so lucky to read itXP lolol jkjk

Anyways this years birthday celebration, or should i say celebrations have been terrific! HAAHA! i have attended like what 5 celebrations! so cool right? My friends have been so fun and i really want to say a big THANK YOU for making it such a great experience this year! i shall not name them but you should know who you are ^^. hehe all the presents have been really great too!

Today I had so much fun! haha we first played some badminton, then we played blind mice XP it was kind of exciting in a way ^^ hehe, after that we had to go back into the clubhouse coz it rained, and so we ended up playing cards and Ungame lolol. hehe i still remember certain memorable questions eh ^^ hehe ask me which teacher wht nonsense! ;) and also one that seemingly made ben cry trying to answer it! :) hehehe We also had some mashed potatoes, cookies, crackers,drinks (including some bandung without milk ^^) hehe. After that we went to the park near my house and had a massively crazy time on the hammock! XP hehe we saw each other scream our hearts till we laughed so hard we started tearing XP hehe i also got an awesome present from Bynes and Charles XP Also, Bynes sewed my name on a really nice baby blue velvet pillow, thats now on my rocking chair in my room XD so sweet of him ^^

And so, thanks to all the people who gave me the 5 celebrations, 38 facebook wall posts, 12 SMS wishes, 2 birthday phone calls, 1 msn wish, and the awesome countless number of presents! =) I am truly blessed to have you guys with me, by my side to witness me turn 16 and I truly thank you guys and God for these blessings! :P You guys are truly blessings from Him, and I love you guys! :)

Awards Presentation Ceremony (APC)

YAY! heya all! :D

today has been AWESOME! XD

i went for the Awards Presentation Ceremony, and lol i was the colour escort ^^
well it started out well as we tried on our ankelts and poor martin couldnt find the right size (u gt wht i mean XD).

haha after that we got onto Mr Lee's car to head for ACJC for the ceremony rehearsals. The marching in and all that was actually surprisingly slack XD. well, it was very important for those few steps to be picture perfect anyways since EVERYONE would be staring at u later lolol. And yea we started with the indoor portion. the outdoor parade was rather confusing at first but after a while we got the hang of it and as usual it was awesome :D

so we had lunch, we talked we had fun and yea, it was great having both phoon and martin with me! (as enzymes XD) i'm sure i would not have enjoyed my colour party experience the same without those 2 XD. we had such a great time!

Soon, the real thing came and as usual, the GOH was late lor..haiz had to stand down there in full ceremonials (super hot leh! haha) got gloves and anklets somemore trap heat like a thermos flask! hmmm they should include (the "Boys' Brigade Full ceremonials uniform") that as an example of heat conservation in that chapter of physics XD

For the indoor portion, i remember i made one or two weird, as in jerky movements that may have been noticeable but other than that, i think i did rather ok overall :D haha yay! anyways really thankful for this opportunity, as i dont think i might ever get a chance anywhere else to do it anymore. :)

After marching in the colours (in slow march), we proceeded to join the rest of us at the CPA circle seats for the ceremony, and i remember we 3 of us lauging crazily many times at certain names XD (e.g. S-Word dunno dunno what church). Like wtp haha wht kind of name is tht lol.)

Ok, yea soon after we marched out the colours and then proceeded for the reception (anklets=eclairs XD). I then had a lift home from Mr Ian Goh and so concluded my first and probably my only flag escort experience :D

I've collected my new White specs! YAY! haha! i think it really looks good on me! (quiet u sec 1s! XD). haha yea, i went to collect it last friday, with alvin, clam chowder and supermarket, amidst a very tense atmosphere XD (those who were with me should know what im saying lol). It wasn't the least bit nice for that to happened...in fact in really pained my heart that it could even happen. I would never do anything to hurt you lol, hope you've realised that and we're now stronger than ever! :D haha have xin shi must clear up! dun bottle it up inside k? XD

Alright, after that we then went to Martin's house. at night i met up with Pichu for dinner! (YAY! :D) haaha, for those who dunno who this pokemon is, she's a nurse at Gleneagles whom i met when i was doing my IBA there. She, Ainsley, Martin and I are very good friends, and meet up occasionally for meals and movies. (now throw clement into the bag too! haha). haha we had a good and hearty meal and talked on ends for 4 hours! in the end we went back to martin hosue at around 11.

Ok, after the nice sleep (clement, 8 hours is ALOT), on the nice sofa bed at martin's house, we proceeded for BB in the afternoon (which guess who ponned? XD hheehe guess guess!). and so Matthew, clement and I got driven by martin's mum to ACS barker for the enrolment service rehearsal! It was so great to see all my juniors again! I also remember a big hoo-ha about my new white specs lol (yes bynes, you can stop laughing at my face now, nothing really funny about it XD). yea i'm in the GOH and lol clement's in the colour party (???) :D clement-colour party (LAUGH! :P lol jkjk).

Today, we had REW! I think it's really great that we're gonna be starting each day for the next 2 more days with a nice chapel! I feel the school should have something like this every morning! after all...it's just another 30 mins than the normal assembly.It would be really nice to start each day like that :P. and yes, today was the first time everyone saw my new specs in school. haha it was retarded (esp WWK- vroom vroom! :P hehe). anyway, i finally adjusted to my new specs today after 2 and a half days (before this i was constantly giddy and getting headaches from it :( haha.)

During PC, it was really funny coz the topic was on S*X. and tim qouted my chemistry teacher this year (when he taught him in sec 1 for PC), "you can Mast***ba**, but not too much". HAHA! you should have seen my CT's reaction! so funny!

haha kk, on another note, GEP camp has ended :( have to go back to normal school days alr...

HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S DAY EVERYONE! :D

haha yes boyst, today was april fool's day, and as usual, it cannot go by without something funny. :P

well, it started with a veyr minor incident that 4.9 didnt have a class key and were locked out.ok maybe it started with me :P i came to class and saw ryan tan standing outside his class and asked him where his key was, and so he said he didnt have. i then went into class and saw eugene and jun kiat sleeping in our class alr. haha and so i told ryan to come in for a while. soon, more and more people .10ers and .9ers started streaming into our cramped class.

so, after that, we all went for assembly (with the .9ers bags still in our class), and there some of us switched place with the .9ers. haha i know some of us like Ben, Colin, ZW, a few others, and I of coz lol were in .9 territory and people like QX and ryan tan were in ours. i remember our CT and .9's CT being quite amused abt it. however, this was going to change soon.

so after assembly, we all retuned to our class. i never had our classroom so lively before man! haha so fun! :D and dne clement and I went to screw around with the board in front: changing attendance to 50/31 XD and of coz our class name became 4.1-9 samuELIJAH (see how nice they fit? haha XD), oh and clement, i thought went a bit to far by filling in the duty personnels (which i shall not mention :P) haha.

And so after a while, Ms Raj and Mdm. Phuan, Mr Yeo and Mr Lang Arts/ Drama entered our class and all i remember was that the atmosphere totally changed with the bag check thinghy and Mdm. Phuan chasing her class out of our class. (after which i heard they got scolded :O). haha on our side, our lovely CT laughed the whole thing off, even apologising that she had spoiled the mood by coming in with this "serious" bag check, which she thought was a sign of distrust to us. (How swits rite? XD).

haha and yea later i had a great time in fencing! learned a lot of cool stuff man! guys watch out :D though it was rather hard at first since i was the only other sec 4 there, not even knowing the other sec 4 guy. however, when Alvin and Clement came to visit me it really made me feel much better (warmer and less lonely there XD) so thx guys! when u 2 popped in, i was so happy! :P sinc before tht i was jus a transperent sheet of paper in tht MPH XD. oh yes then later, during my lunch break i went to visit alvin and clement (clement yue- Basketball LAUGH! :P) at their elective, basketball at the basket ball court (duh! :D). and i saw how bored their elective was man (throwing balls and running shuttle-run-a-likes...like wht?? in basketball elective!) haha. i then proceeded to the pool cafe and had lunch with aluwi, Ben10, WWK, Quezzy and Rez. XD

After that, me, Alvin, and clemmy went for camwhoring sessions XD hehee and yay! alvin's coming with me to collect my hot white specs this friday ( if it's actualy ready by then)! haah if not, i think we shall just go for a lunch :D.

After photog, i met up with Eugene, Darrel, Mark (again :D) and EuGIN Lim ;) whom i took bus back with after such a long time haha! (whole day take car one! XD) successfully persuaded my DyCSM to take bus! hehe and then we met at Ben10 at the bus stop lol. and the cool thing is that we all 3 stay in 3 consecutive busstops away frm each other (as in ben drop, then asher, then me all consecutively haha see? so close lor).

anyways kk i gotta go! im looking forward to inline skating tommorrow boyst! haha

Hey guys! its mua again :D lol so today i was ill with flu and sore throat and of course, was nt int he best of moods too lol. haha i remember that the period before PE, (LAA), i wasnt feeling the least bit well at all, nose blocked and headache and all that. I got very worried coz later was PE, and most definitely 2.4 run (could nt breathe properly after all). so then, was about to go and report sick for PE when at teh last 5 mins of LAA, my nose started clearing up and i could breathe easily again. My headache also sort of faded with the introduction of the sun as i left the class, and strangely i felt super energised, for the first time in 1 day, (since i was sick last night).

I felt more than ready to do the run, asif i was in my best shape ever lol. in the end guess wht my timing was? hehee by God's grace, i managed a timing alomost a whole minute ahead of my highest practice run time (11:11) at 10 :15 mins! :D haha how cool is tht man! imagine i werent sick at all....

haha kk now to go to sleep (its early! 10 pm :D) i noe lol cant take it alr so drowsy and my nose just keeps leaking XD kk hope i can turn up for sch tmr.

hey chilluns ;),

obviously still under the influnce of the excessive use of tht word after reading clement's recent post....LOL!

Well this week, we finally finished ALL the exams for this term! WOOT! heard tht? ALL! yay!! lol yea somehow i feel alot more relaxed after this, unlike the friends around me (well maybe with the exception of the likes of hmmm ben? XD and martin lol). Everyone seems to be so busy, so tied up so siao siao alr lol...i jus seem to not be able to breathe by just listening to thier busy schedules (well, for starters: Asher, Clement and WK), and then i think to myself, i already feel so busy and suffocated with all my school work and such, how do these people survive? hahaa I cant comprehend....

sometimes, it just feels as if im standing still, not doing much, and everyone is around me circling, dashing round round and round. But then again, when i think about if i would rather be them, i start prefering my position as i am now :P i want to enjoy my last pre-IB year and keep as simple and slow going as possible. Cant beleive it'll be so fast, we'll end Y4 and join IB! so fast...just too fast! I want my time, I dont want it flying off somewhere i dun want it to. But then again, maybe to these people, it is all these stuff tht they enjoy doing? oh well....i guess everyone's different. Im just very afraid and worried for them, I dont want and NEVER want to see them lose their mind or break down (i really really hope not), it would break my heart if tht happened. So pls, to those people who are cramming the're selves with activities, dun go too far. I dont want a bunch of emo people as friends k! haha well u could still talk to me if you have problems though XD haha!

ok well, this week has been hectic and i rarely post in the middle of a week :D since today was Xcountry lol, have some time to spare. spicking of whicht, (some may not understand tht lol, sry could'nt help it ;) today was not as fun as i wanted it to be but it was fine i guess. haha clement lifted me this morning to west coast, haha and the fun started when we were nearing it and were stuck in a jam, when all the cars of ACS students and teachers piled up near to the car and we could recognize them heehe, (though we had particualr fun with of them LOL, tht teacher switched from lane 2 to 1 and then to 3 within 3 minutes during the jam lol- MAZzy XD). haha during Xcountry it was very monotonous...jus photo taking and talking and then the main walk, which was rather boring lol, though with several instances of (let's pangseh/disturb martin moments :P LOL Asher!).

After that i joined soem of my classmates and some .11 people to take a long walk our of WCP and through some concrete jungle of clementi to Chun Wee's house. It was kinda funny when 10 of us entered his house, i would think his mum was shock to see so many of us lol. we hung around there a bit and then left for Sumo house. While leaving, Charles and Aik Leng jumped down one level of the HDB (i noe- CRAZY lol). After a nice lunch, we parted ways, while some of'em decied to continue and pay money to sing (Kbox, apparently S$13) like i rather sing at home :P haha.

Also, i noticed something recently, Im starting to like BB more and more now, i think its coz of my sec 1s and the sort of responsibility i have towards them. haha and yay! i got my buddy! REC/1 Eugene Tan :D looking forward to TA pre-camp and the camp itself! haha! cant wait!

And i guess as you guys have probably observed, I have a passion for designing, (anything, be it liveries, logos, clothes or even architecture!) so yea if i ever post any designs here its coz i want your opinions on them so i can improve on 'em. (erm but no thanks to the thousands of comments on dolphins ;)

oh and btw, congrats to martin for his awards this fri! and wow im so proud of myself! 8 posts this month! (beat tht! this certain someone whos gt just a measerly 4 ;) lalaal haha!

The new logo of Nalanji Airways, launched today at a press conference at Ritz Carlton, Nalanji, represents the company's dynamism and new outlook for the next decade and beyond, as it seeks to further position itself as a global player in the world market. The new logo is a welcome refreshing and energetic change in the airline's marketing schemes. It injects new life and excitement in the future of NAL and also, heralding a new age in air travel experince for its customers.

Nalanji Airways to cut capacity by some 8%; considers more cost-cutting measures

NALANJI: Nalanji Airways (NAL) plans to further cut capacity and is in talks with its staff and unions on various cost-cutting measures as the global economic downturn continues to hit travel and cargo demand.

NAL said in a statement released Monday it will reduce capacity by 8 per cent in the new financial year beginning April 1, starting with some flights to the USA.

This is in addition to a two per cent cut announced by the airline last month.

NAL said it has taken this decision after seeing advance bookings slide.

The airline also said it is discussing with unions the possibility of shorter work months and unpaid leave, as well as early retirement and possible pay cuts.

In the course of the year, 15 aircraft will be decommissioned from NAL's operating fleet.

After April 25, NAL will suspend its thrice-weekly service between Nalanji and Houston. Customers affected by the change will be offered refunds.

NAL will continue to serve Houston through its existing schedule of 42 weekly flights from Nalanji through the US via San Francisco, Los Angeles, as well as Newark and JFK airports in New York.

From these gateway locations, passengers can fly to Houston through NAL's Star Alliance partner airlines.

The last time Nalanji Airways was badly hit by slowing demand was during the SARS outbreak in 2003.

Then, the airline cut capacity by some 13.6 per cent.

Besides a hiring freeze and releasing some 206 of its trainees to become cabin crew, some 6,600 cabin crew were asked to take unpaid leave, while 414 personnel were eventually retrenched in June that same year.

The affected staff comprised some 1.5 per cent of the NAL Group's staff strength in Nalanji.

And experts said it will be hard for NAL to avoid cutting jobs, in the face of what is expected to be a prolonged downturn.

An aviation analyst at Standard & Poor's, Shukor Yusof, said: "You will have to anticipate if this is going to be short term, near term or longer term. Eventually, I imagine it will be inevitable for jobs to be lost, because from where we see it, the crisis is just unfolding, and it's likely to get worse before it gets better."

Vice-president of public affairs at NAL, Steve Gorand, said: "The measures that we put in place are very similar to what we did with SARS. Retrenchments will be the last resort. There will be certain other measures that we will put in place to contain costs.

“That said, as we go forward, if the demand position continues to deteriorate, then obviously those measures are going to kick in for longer, and it may mean that some retrenchments become a reality, but we are in cooperation with our unions to avoid that."

When contacted, unions said that talks on retrenchments are still premature.

In fact, during an hour-long meeting, NAL's three unions, namely Nalanji Airways Staff Union, Airline Pilots Association and Air Transport Executive Staff Union, said they were given a briefing on the various cost-cutting measures.

These include getting staff to accelerate clearance of leave entitlement, go on shorter work weeks, voluntary no pay leave or even voluntary retirement.

Responding to queries from Channel NewsAsia, the president of Nalanji Airways' Staff Union Alan Tan said the meeting between airline and unions was cordial.

President of the Airline Pilots' Association (ALPA-S) P James said although the capacity cuts mean fewer flights and will impact the overall take-home pay of pilots and cabin crew, it is a prudent move in these tough times.

He said the current workload would be adjusted and spread evenly among all staff.

Channel NewsAsia also understands that if NAL loses about S$50 million in the current financial year, the company might resort to cutting some 2.5 per cent of each staff's basic salary.

Should that occur, management would likely take the lead in pay cuts.

NAL is also understood to have implemented a hiring freeze for now.

Nalanji Airways inc. announced a slide in profit by 30% for fiscal year 2008, but still managing a surplus profit of $N 988 million.

Hello eervyone! long time no see! haha so yea yesterday, was sheng yung's birthday party, and instead of going home after BB. i decided to stay in sch till evening then go tho his party, coz it would have been a waste of time travelling twice. Hence, i sat in for a TA EXCO meeting :D haha so retarded man. Well after that, i did alot of things, hmm like i remember being a FEDEX service man with clement, talking to matthew lee haha and also doing some work here and there.

At around 6, i headed for the bus stop for wait for 74. and lo and behold i met shaun and mark lim (they had to saty back for band). it was rather funny, because shaun came up to me and asked me (he didnt know i was going for the party) how to get to sheng yung's house. So i told him everything to the last detail from the first bus to the next bus stop and the next bus right down to the unit number. And then he said "oh ok thanks." and so i stared at him, waiting for that point of enlightenment. After which, he paused, and said "oh you're going to sheng yung's party 2!?" haha!

ok once we reached, i remember we got lost in his huge condo lol (its HUGE, so huge tht theres a shopping mall inside it lol jus for the residents). Right after we arrived a lot more people started cominng in. sheng yung's house is rather cool coz theres like 2 levels only in the front of the house, a single level in the middle, and a balcony at the end (which has 2 levels). ok lol this sounds funny and i dun even know how it works out, but that was how it was lol.

then, dinner was served and it was barbecue. so we talked and ate and made merry. well, the only thing i remember out of all the crap we were talking about i remember most well (i think all of us do), Stan's thousand and one lame jokes (im not kidding it was so many of them- mainly puns) lol.

After dinner we watched an old scottish movie (from which the popular song came from): "chariots of fire", which has a very intesresting true story behind it, but was rather dry and boring. So, after a while i remember we were just hanging around talking and eating a second round (yum! lol) with the officers and then Charles (dun hv to say sir anymore rite? XD) came (Late!) haha.

We wanted to go down and dunk yung in his pool, but in the end we ended up singing his birthday song and cutting his cake. After this, about half of us left (including me), the rest were left either playing Risk (mainly yung, lui and the officers) or at the com.

so yea tht was about it all. kk tmr gt IHS exam! haha wish me luck!

In a few days time.....it will be year since the unfortunate event which left me a rather deep scar. All i can say is that i cant believe its been a year already....but i will never forget you and you shall always live on in our hearts.

hey everyone,

so very sorry for the MIA here for the past few weeks, due to all the school work and CDP and the past few days' CNY buzzing around. well, i guess i could say i had a really fun time during CDP, and as Weiyang said on his blog, i, too got to know many of my classmates better, in terms of who they are, their character and the way jus do this thing called "life". CDP has also, in a way, helped me to grow in character, in the sense, hmmm, lets see.....ok, rock climbing. I remember how when i reached tht steep and difficult part of the "Red side of the rock", i couldnt find anyway i could get myself up, my hands were stuck holding on to some very sharp pointy rocks before i could find my way. so as you can guess, it hurt a lot, so very very much, until i could find another foothold, i wanted to give up so many times, but i told myself to finish what i had started, and this coupled with my friend's cheering and encouragement (mostly Michael's), in the end, helped me to finish it. After this expereince, i felt that it really helped me grow in determination, in the sense that, now i feel that in furutre endeavours, i would not give up or give in to failures too easily.

CDP also helped me grow in confidence. i believe that now, i have even more self-confidence than before, (something i which lacked in), I realized i could do things, i never knew i could do, I felt more inclined to want to lead, i wanted to try new things and just do it, somethign which i guess would not have been possible with my previous, "if im not needed, i wont do it", kind of attitude, but now i guess i would want to keep trying new things, the opportunities in life are just too much to miss, as in "yes man", the movie, "if you are not saying yes, then you have not started living".

I guess CDP hold so many memories for me, its hard to put them all down here but, i remember the new friendships and bonds i have forged with my new friends, and old firends, the most memorable. I also remember the time when jon fell sick, i saw how wen kai was rather "selfless" in taking care of him. that said, Chun wee was also very very caring towards jon's needs. So that night, i saw so many of our class people all playing, in one another's rooms, I thought to myself, how i could not just stand around and do nothing, joining in the fun, when i knew how WK and chun were the only ones caring for Jon, so i went to help out in WK's room. Forgive me for saying this (or if it sounds too harsh), but i felt rather angry at my class for being so ignorant and not giving a hoot about jon's situation, (untill later in the night), when i saw how some of us decided to come and genuinely help, while others just came and went (as if it was visiting someone in a hospital). There was our friend in such a critical condition, and some of us just didnt, (as i would put it), give a damn. In a sense, i felt that it was rather unfair for just the 2 of them to be taking care of such a sick person, (which included a lot of dirty work- clearing of vomit eg), all of which, they did voluntarily, even thought they could have been like the rest of us, not giving a damn and gone playing.

That said, i guess that night helped me to see how, care and concern for a fellow classmate would go such a long way. That night, Wen Kai, Chun Wee, Ben and I all slept in my room, coz Mr yeo was sleeping with jon to take care of him through the night. I felt, no matter how inconvenient it would be, be it, taking care of jon till 1 or putting my friends up in our room, it was nothing compared to what other people in the world were going through, and i guess that made me feel encouraged to keep sharing and caring. I felt very happy to be able to help and care. That, i would say was a once in a lifetime experince.

ok, thats all for now folks. haha sory if this post has been a little dry or harsh, but i just felt i had to say it.

Well today was the much awaited opening school day of the year and i guess it went pretty smoothly. My CT and PCT have also changed. I was pretty happy to see all my friends and classmates again, however i admit it did feel a little awkward and weird at the start. Seeing all the familiar faces again and also in longs ;D haha. I still cant believe im that old already lol.

I found out tht we'll be sleeping in hotels during CDP and well thats a relief! haha but....but...im hoping a miracle might happen and i will nt have to share a room with erhem erhem...(u noe who :D) haha. actually its not so bad la...if i get him and he does smth to me at nite ;), den so be it lor XD haha...lolx jkjk.

So....I guess people have gotten lazier in the hols haha with blogposts and tagging hits reaching a new low.... mine nonwithstanding. hmmm I have really nothing to say much here, cept tht this hols feel very different in the sense that i have been very much involved in many things over these nov/dec, and i dont really seem to be enjoying it. :( something seems to be missing....but i dont know what...

lolz now tht everyones gone for vacations...its been rather quiet over the com. having just decorated (as i do every year, alone :D) my family tree, i realized that the only thing that keeps me happy is the fact that christmas is coming. other than that i feel like this hols have been a waste of time. haha i know this sounds really poor thinghy lol but this is how im feeling...sian.

im passing each day as if nothing is missing and left empty again at the end of the day. having said that, have you heard of this beautiful song- AF607105 by Charlotte Gainsbourg? haha

from the 18th to the 21st, for 4 consecutive days i will be away waking uo at 7 and returning at 10 everyday for BBSGB...so yea..like IBA all over again lol.

this year in school, i feel like it has been a year of self-discovery and getting to know more deeply, who i really am, as well as who i want to be. I have met more and more new people which im sure have impacted my thinking and life in one way or another. This year has been a year of slowing down and enjoying slowly, life's pleasures and marinating longingly in them, be it family, friends, and spiritual satisfaction. Having mentioned that, I guess i have to mention my class this year, haha nehemiah of 08 has been a really fun and eye-opening experience for me, as i have got to learn beside a really wonderful and friendly class- nothing like ive ever been through before. my Sec 3 class has been really one of a kind in a way which i cannot fully explain here. I have never ever had a class as almost eprfect as this and i appreciate that. Thanks to all that have made my year in 3.10 amazing in every way! XD (Can't wait for 4.10 Samuel!)

As the hectic two thousand and eight comes to a close, i would like to thank all my family and friends who have been there with me every step of the way, guiding me and helping me. I shall not name them, for fear of missing anyone out. So, as we soon welcome the time of giving and 2009, to all of you out there, A GREAT THANK YOU! :)

Hahaa, Clement visited us at _______ Hospital on Monday. YAY! It was rather sudden and surprising, (considering the fact that just the night before I asked him if he wanted to visit us, his replay was “YOUR HEAD AH!” HAHA!! but of course it was welcomed! It helped to make an otherwise rather dull day, better.

So well, IBA officially ended yesterday. I will miss lots of things haha like, hmm (let me rip this off ainsley’s blog):

Working at _______ Hospital was fun, and at the same time a real eye opener.
1. I got to see a CT scan
2. I got to see a brain tumour through the CT scan
3. I got to see how a simulator works
4. I got to see how a thermoplastic mask is made
5. I got to eat lunch at the cafeteria at STAFF PRICE
6. I got to make friends with many people
7. I got to enjoy many of Pichu's goodies
8. I got to see how unpredictable life is.
9. I got to see reality.
10. I realised how blessed i am.

I'll miss the times where i spend the whole day drawing lines in books.
I'll miss all my colleagues.
I'll miss wearing my tag that says "_______ Hospital Student Attachment"”

Yup….I will miss many things, the people (both those who were nice and bad wink wink) and also the environment. But then again, I will not miss many things, like, waking up early, sleeping early, out almost the whole day and so….haha. Ainsley and I hand-made “thank you” cards together, and they turned to be really nice and colourful (having a different pattern and design for each different person), we made a total of 8 cards in total, and then we gave them out, with some biscuits, to very happy reactions. I was kinda sad at leaving that place, and saying goodbye for a final time, after all our time there, I kinda felt an attachment to both the people and place of The _______ Hospital Radiation Oncology Department. And ohoh did I mention? A very very nice, nurse, there also gave us a really cool bottle each, that can keep your water cooler for a longer time with the help of a freezing chemical in it.

And then after the last hour of IBA, yesterday I visited Wen Kai at his clinic like what, during the last few minutes of his IBA? Hahaa. I kinda got weird stares from the people at the hospital. Lol in a place filled with old people with eye problems, suddenly got one teenager popping in and searching high and low for someone….then I gave up and asked this nurse if there was a student on attachment and she jus screamed: “OH! WEEEEN KAIIII, your friends here to see you” haha and then she opened a door to some room, where he was there observing stuff. His work place is rather nice and somehow didn’t seem too bad what….haha (why didn’t you seem to enjoy IBA ar WK?). I left after a short 15 minutes there as, after which, I had to travel to my grandma’s place where I met my siblings and we proceeded up to my grandma’s house to surprise her with our presence and a cake!

YAY! And happy she was, that someone remembered her birthday and also brought a cake to celebrate with her…. (as usually when we have a dinner to celebrate her birthday, we don’t celebrate it with a cake), so yeah, even though we had a dinner at the restaurant to celebrate her birthday on the 8th, we didn’t have a cake. Well, I wouldn’t say the celebration was a total success, haha coz like there were some slip ups here and there like, as she came out, the wind from the front door, blew away all the candles even she could blow them haha, and it became so dark in the room that we couldn’t see how was who haha (coz the lights were off for celebration).

So yea, slept at 1.30 that night and guess what, today I woke up at 12.30 :), first day without having to wake up early in a long long long time YAY!

And Omh la! I jus realized that BB itself, has booked another 9 days(!!!) of my holidays....apart from the earlier 3! making it close to taking up 2 weeks of my holidays! ohmy oh my....

haha and i also just read a pice of news that rather intriuged me, that Gong Li renounced her Chinese citizenship and became a singaporean! wow....i wonder what made her do that...on top of that she has recieved much criticism and uproar from her homeland, the chinese people.

Haha lol and one of the nurses at Gleneagles just called me to meet we 3 on saturday to watch Madagascar 2...lol...haha that would be fun! ;)

Anglo-Chinese School (Junior) Closes

As of today, Anglo-Chinese School (Junior) closes down, before moving to the new premises just a few kilometers down from the current Newton site. The new school, first announced with our year’s graduating batch, has finally come true and real. Through many tough and painful fund-raising events, starting from the very first huge one, that we, at primary 6, kick-started: NOMAD (Nite Of Music And Drama), the new ACSJ campus finally becomes reality!

Today the whole school will be walking together to new school today, as they mark the momantus closing down of the grand old dame. My memories in primary school would no doubt be lost, but I will never forget them. The friendships, teachers, exams and struggles, taking place in one place, which sadly, will be demolished. I will not be able to join the school in this most poignant and momentous event due to today’s BB camp…..hmmmm….how sad right? Hahaa I amd feeling rather sad because of this but still….hahaaha nvm :(.

Oh well, now off to the camp….

The Big O :: O-Day...OreO

firstly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIS!!

Today was my first ever ‘O’ levels!! Haha and guess what? It ROCKED :) haha no seriously lol, it was much easier than expected, and I think I should be able to get an A1 and continue taking HCL next year WOOT! Haha ;) I also would like to thank those who helped me and encouraged me before today's big O, especially Jeremy (wink wink) haaha! Thanks Guys!

Well, IBA has been rather slack and so yea im not really worried about it...now the main thing on my radar, would be to pass my Founder’s Test on Saturday, and also get through the camp before it on Friday. That means, more polishing and mugging of BB’s history, reading maps, compasses, tying knots, learning all of first aid stuff, and learning drill, commanding, timing and a lot more shit lol….hmm sounds easy….yea rite man! Haha I have 2 days to do all that! RAWR!!

Well after all of these are over, my holidays can finally start...yes don’t laugh, all those non-HCL, non-BB, non-IBA, non-study campers. HAHA.well that should be hopefully by mid next week. Oh yes, haaha this Saturday after the founder’s test at Kuo Chuan, I gotta rush to my 3rd uncles house to celebrate my Grandma’s Birthday!!! WOOT! Hahaa hope I get released slightly earlier so that I can at least change! LoL who goes to a party in full-U?

Haha, I just remembered 2 rather hilarious happenings today at ‘O’ Levels...because we had to paste a barcode sticker on our exam paper, but there was also a lower part of the sticker that will not be peeled off, as in it is a sticker, which u only peel off the upper part and paste it on your exam paper, while leaving the lower part of the sticker un-peeled. The lower part says this : “ Please return the section to the examiner”. Then there was this boy, I think a year 3, who, when the examiner came round his desk to collect this section, he actually peeled the lower section off and then stuck it on the examiner's palm! Like OMH la, either he is damn dumb, or was trying to fool around. I think the latter? Hahaa, imagine what the foreign examiner thought of ACS boys! "We are either stupid or childish..."lol. so funny lor! You have to be there to see it yourself, then it will be funny... Lol

Then was that examiner that loved to “tiao lou”, coz he kept trying to get his fat body up the stage (not via the stairs), so yea u can imagine...using two hands to press against the stage floor and then thrusting himself up, in front of the whole school. Not only that, coz after tht he jumped down from the stage and made a lound bang onto the wooden floor, and then he repeated the whole cycle again, climb up and den crash down again, and please, he was sort of an overweight...so imagine the loudness of his crash and the spectacle we got to see when he climbed up? HAHA, the worst part was that, he didn’t seem to mind doing it in front of all of us...like WTP?

Haha I also realized...this November is like some birthday season for me, with my piano teacher’s birthday (2 Nov), sister’s birthday (5 Nov), brother’s birthday (8 Nov), Bynes’ Birthday (8 Nov) [Haha hope u liked the gift I gave you today :)], Grandma’s birthday (11 Nov), and my dads (22 Nov)…like hmmm 6 people I know with birthdays in November! Haha Lol, kk I gtg now. Cya all next time!

HSM FEVER of a 103.....High School Musical :: SENIOR YEAR

Looks like we will be the seniors of the old building next year! our SENIOR YEAR! haha

Ok this post will be my longest ever! Get ready for it! over 2 days worth of funa dn jam-packed with activities....

anywayz let me start with the last day if school....i guess the most memorable part of tht day was meeting our new teachers...Mr Yeo (smth-smth), and Mrs Sandra Sim. Both are really nice teachers and im looking forward to next year, in 4.10 (Samuel?)!
haha get it? Sandra in Samuel...okok sounds sick alr LOL :). With regards to CDP, im like half lookin forward to it and also disgusted by it lol hahaa....hope Bynes comes with us next year! Im also actually more worried about how i might cope next year's workload...with this year's being so hectic alr..haiz nvm, im sure we should be able to pull through it! arent tht friends are for? haha... And so began the first hour of our HOLIDAYS!!! ahaha lol:

POST-SCHOOL AND HSM SINGAPORE PREMIERE CELEBRATIONS :: The lead-up and the big day!

We headed to west coast recreation for bowling, which was part of Chun wee's birthday celebrations. LOL i hadnt bowled in like waht? 2 yrs? haha oh well took one round and had some gd shots here and there, but other then that...i sucked! :) haha! Then we all headed to Jeremy's house (haha- had to use it) for chun wee's Birthday celebrations! haha, save for charles bynes and kirby who went IMM first to buy some groceries for dinner.

Haha on the way to WK's hse i remembered how they kept bugging us with requests about how much of the stuff they needed tht WK had in his hse haha lol and tht gt everyone a little fluttered for a while. upon arrival at his hse...i found out to my fearful discovery tht he had a REALLY REALLY adorable dog! you see the thing with me and dogs is that i love them so much! but am really scared of getting close to them coz of their drool, bite, claws (heehee- fine, Paws) and also their shit and pee haha. Thats why i get scared of them, and jus hysterical when they jus start chasing me (lol i kept jumping on Wk's bed and the sofa when ever the dog started following me haha!- dun laugh! RAWR). But the thing is after tht trip to WK's house, some how...I seemed to hav warmed up a little more with dogs haha, less afraid of them at the very least :). Wen Kai's house is also very very nice..having been just launched, everything there is spanking new....and yea he has a very cool room 2!

Then I jus remebered a lot of DoA and WOW, until those 3 came back to us lol. which shortly after which, they strated cooking dinner, haaha! and bynes with his retarded smiles from the kitchen lol it was so retarded till i also started doing it! LOL...i think WK's maid was a little disgusted at their messing up of the kitchen lol...the floor and everything was so oily haha.

Later on, Jon and ting wei came to join us for dinner. BLACK CHICKEN, UNDERCOOKED BROCOLLI and some ok fish :) heheee that was what i saw for dinner :) LOL! i didnt even dare to try the soup! well dinner went rather eventful other than the first time i saw a PIZZA-birthday cake with a candle on it lol. we sang a birthday song to him and then the pizza jus disappeared within seconds haha! I had the spagethi and some fish. We then procceeded to play RISK, which i hardly remembered how to play after so long....and guess wht? i found out tht the risk game was so dumb to not even include an important land in the world map for me to conquer! Nalanji was not present! OMH who could have been so blind?! so it started fine when i took asia, but slowly and slowly my empire declined lol with really funny instances when my dice numbers: '6' was rolled 3 times consecutively haha...i also dunno how it happened lol! :)

I also remembered getting drunk on so many drink haha! during the game dunno wad happened, bynes WK and me all ended in his bed under his sheets lol I shall not explain wht happened and jus kope smth off matthew's blog:

ok I finally laft his house at 10:30 pm and later arrived home at about 11:20 and watch some documentary abt the building of Changi Airport's all- new Terminal 3 on discovery channle till 12. then i bathed and slept almost immediately lol, having to wake up for the BIG day the next day!

I woke up to the bright morning sun shining through the curtains and got ready for the biggest movie event of the year!! and before long, i was out of the house and headed to dhoby gaught. I arrived there abt 10 mins early and waited till abt 11:10 before i saw the very first sign of human life lol i met WK and mathew, after which we all went to pick up more people, until everyone came except charles lol. which he did jus on time haha, jus when we finished buying popcorn.

You know something is wrong when 70% of the cinema is filled with girls screaming whenever Zac efron appears lol and it didnt help tht the opening scene had troy staring straight at the audience for abt 30 seconds ...LOL imagine how much screaming there was! I also remembered one scene that was so not suppose to be funny: when troy appeared and den one random girl, jus one lol, in the whole quiet cinema screamed...and then silence...and then the whole cinema broke out in laughter lol! it was so retarded lol. I dont know about you guys but my sentiments exacted wen kai's...i felt sort of a kind of hesitance to leave the cinema...i jus wanted more...more of HSM...it was really ride with it in my life wathing it for the very first time in sec 1 with HSM1, in sec 2 (wathing all the illegal parts on youtube- haha before the release on disney of HSM2) and finally in sec 3, High school musical 3, and to think it was the last time...the whole closing curtain and all on screen further made it more regretful to leave it behind lol, as if it still isn't suppose to end...my life would not have been the same without HSM lol, come to think of it, after wathing HSM1 way back in sec 1, never has a day or 2 gone by for me without whistling, humming, singing, or even thinking about a scene or song from High School musical....therefore, i can safely conclude that HSM changed my life...in a sort of way, that it would have been rather different without it. To qoute wen kai: "About the friendships, the separation and what not, it is an experience one does not explain but rather experience for yourself."

Ok, i shall not spoil it further...haha GO WATCH HSM3!!! HOT HOT HOT!

Oh freak! I just realized that i've been listening to this song the whole time i was typing this post.....for the past 2 hours.....i guess i've listened to it about 40 times alr! and guess wht im still far from sick ofit! lol :) I guess i can really understand it lol, the words and the wealth of emotions it evokes! (thx to WK for them :) to the other songs...i guess im ok with them...with HSM3 though, I seem to like less songs than the first 2. Ok, now back to when we ended the movie, after we had lunch, Martin and charles split from our group and left for bugis, while we all headed to WK's house again. Where we slacked and fooled around lol...and of coz we did wht we 3 loved to do in the HSM bed ;) before we went down to play badminaton and basketball. We then headed back up and watched HSM :: the concert, before people, one by one left. Haha i also found out WK has a really cool sister that dances to HSM with him o_O. I then left with the last 4 of us, Bynes, Brandon and Gideon. Also, today was Song Jing's Birthday. so: HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONG JING!!! (oops, one day late haha) ok im crazy....

Wow, these 2 days have flew by really qucikly, as if it was just fun after fun after fun, like, really 48 hours of pure fun and play lol...all these partying already making me giddy lol haha. ohohoh, haha lol when we went out yesterday, martin and i were so scared of meeting our BB people when the're on their amazing race during company camp haha, and i didnt lol, but apparently martin did when he went with charles to bugis lol. He met Ben liau i think LOL so funny lor! haha....oops why arent you in the camp, Joshua? haha lol...no la, I didnt go coz i needed to prepare for chinese 'O' lvls haha ;) which im really afraid i will not be able to get B3 and above (the minimum grade to carry on with HCL next year)....since i did fail my T4 HCL exam...haizz oh well...therefore, I will really try hard for this exam, and prepare for it :) heheee dun mugger me here and there hor! I really dun wan to drop HCL at the last year! (after taking it for the past 6 years!)

Ok, IBA is also gonna start real soon, and i guess im really fortunate to have gotten a job, in which im not alone lol, (gd luck to you Wen Kai! haha lol dun worry la, it will be fine). I'm working at Gleneagles Hospital lol and my wokin hours are frm 8:30 to 5:30, at the radiation Oncology department. haha lol and i have to wear office clothing everyday! haha!

Also, there's also gonna be my CHinese 'O' levels and Founders training and tests sandwiched between IBA, so yea...its gonna be a really busy 2 weeks. WHich will then be followed by BB SGB'08. haha and yea im nt allowed to blog abt my IBA so yea...my blog might jus die with starvation of posts soon haha...LOL, with all of these activities, i have close to 40% of holidays filled already (about 3 half weeks).

Also I will be busy preparing for my Grade 5 Piano theory exam next March. So yea...I should be relatively busy this holidays... :( grrrr RAWR! not gd at all! lol

i shall begin this by congratulating Martin Tan Fan Min for clinching the top place at this years End-Of-Years Examinations and his amazing marks this year. He has done really well this year and has also helped me a great deal in my studies, so yea, A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU!!! You have really earned my respect as great student (mugger) heehee jkjk lol and im really proud to have you as my best friend!! Haha! Once again, CONGRATULATIONS MARTIN!

I also want to thank him because he spent a great deal of time and effort helping me throughout the entire year. I am really grateful for that. I remember all the times u were pissed and tired but still teached me the many concepts that I couldn’t understand (for hours sometimes). I can know that I will be able to count on you when im down to be brightened up again lol ur strange laughter still gets me…….HAHA! A few of my subjects this term (namely, in Physics- my huge ULTRA HUGE jump from a person who almost fails it (51) to almost 80 (yes charles….i get it, but its for dramatization- after all, I got 79 :) and Advanced Mathematics which I topped the class with a 94 heeehee yay! I beat ZR!!! Lol no offence there). And wooyea! I also topped IHS in class lol! With 94 again!! Wheee........

Ok so yea my reactions to my marks this term is definitely not hot nor cold.....so I guess warm? Haha Shit am I addicted to tht song or wht? Haha! In fact this term, I had a near brush with death (con camp) with HCL haha (my marks too scandalous to be published here) but u guys should noe wht I got lol, and den saved later on by overalls! And oh yea I discovered 2 more mistakes in marking in my physics and core maths papers thanks to Martin’s and Clement’s tip-ons as well as Clement’s help in helping me get KONG’s help during sch time (tsktsktsk using hp ar...haiyoh!) haha (THANK YOU GUYS!!). So Wheee yea I guess this brings an end to my Nehemiah ’08 experience…… it’s been a really eventful and colourful year…. I will elaborate on my experience this year another time, maybe when its more appropriate? Haha when school really ends….den I post!

Today and the past few days have been really draining, as if it was like a lead up tp the main thing, the main event for the year…….RESULTS RELEASE. What a word lol…..right now, I can hardly understand my own feelings hahaa I cant even explain it! Some mixing of excitement and actually, more of anxiety, basically its HOT and COLD (yes, martin I know, dun get too high now…. ;)). PEH-SIKly im just afraid that I may end up in HCL con camp…. I really hope that I dun fail HCL coz, as u hv read in my earlier post abt it…..it went really horribly…oh well…jus gotta wait for the real thing tmr! See ya guys! Wish u all well! :)

Ok lets try to blog in third person (heehee). Today, Joshua had a rather uneventful day except that he had to wash toilets for the school (which went really screwed up lol). The day started with HCL intensive revision (which really drained me lol coz it was so friggin boring!) after which, it jus really got worse and worse with the stupid repeated drug speeches and so on, but Joshua was made very amused and livened up by the really cool HIS lecture later in the day when we went through the papers….yea it was really funny for Joshua. In C Math, as usual, LEECH basically jus slacked and left class early. Joshua felt really tortured after toilet washing when Michael, Ben, ZR and WY decided to torture me (!) lol no la not really torture la (EXCEPT THAT THEY DECIDED TO MAKE JOSHUA RUN ROUND THE SCHOOL BUILDING over and over again like a friggin hot dog (haha!) lol rawr u all man Joshua has gt a phobia of dirty hands :)

Then, Joshua decided to do a really random thing….when Joshua was in the process of being tortured, he happened to see OMH pass by him…..and then he decided to strangely shout without much thinking of coz: “HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADAM!”, which caught her entirely by surprise, but once she turned back and saw that it was a completely random person saying to her, which she doesn’t even know or teach, her face turns from a very happy smiling face to a really awkward struggling expression, wondering why a when had garnered so much attention this year with her birthday! Haaha all these on top of the more random wishes throughout the day like Martin’s gift, 3.16’s one for her….and so on haha! She must hve been really confused lol….it was a funny thing to do for Joshua :D.

haha...exams are finally over! yea i know i should be happy and excited but haha some how I still pissed that I once again, screwed my exam why??? Of all papers?!! The last one! So friggin pissed so yea if u guys found me emo today when I went out with u guys….dun think I was not enjoyin going out with u guys or anything lol jus tht I wasn’t in the mood….

Well, what happened was that during the last 20-30 mins of the HCL exam I knew I needed the toilet but thought that I should hold on till the end of it lol since I still had like 1 chang wen suo duan and 2 more questions to answer….so yea but by the 10-15th min (when toilets were closed) I knew I couldn’t hold on any longer lol (seriously I never felt so tortured before ;) lol!) So I had to hold on with much effort so I could hardly concentrate on my paper at all so I kinda like wasted the rest of the 15 mins before the paper ended! Which was irritating coz I this last 15 mins to do my chang wen suo duan….so I could hardly do it at all, just randomly picking sentences to fill out my squares and mind u ! tht part was worth 20 marks! Erm 1/5 th of the paper! So SHIT! Haha lol sry couldn’t control it….

Oh well and oh yea the worst part was I could have had a chance of completing the paper normally if only hadn’t asked Ms loud booming voice (german for wicked if u cant guess who) if I could go to the toilet at the 15 minute mark (which would have givern me enough time to complete to paper after I go) of coz she told me that I couldn’t go no matter how urgent so I understood their situation and the need to follow rules and all that but later like during the last 4 mins when I couldn’t hold it no longer I raised my hand and Herzog (my goodness!) came to my rescues (lol) and when I told her that it was really urgent she told me to stand up and go (yes as easy as how it sounded- she gave her permission) but then she remembered the 15 min mark rule and told me to sit down first before she ran (so kind right?) to get help and permission from other teachers up front to allow me to go.

Then she came back to my table with Mr. Keith Tan (!!!!) LOL then at tht point I saw his face and some how all this urgency and tension like sort of dissipated by 50% really! LoL like I suddenly had half as much need for the toilet so yea by then there was like 2 mins left till the end so I just told them that I would wait till the end but he asked me again if I needed the toilet haha saying how it was OK haaha (it was caring of him haaha) and Mr. Keith Tan told me that once my paper was collected I could go straight away (so understanding lol) haha so yea that ended my half and hour ordeal which cost me 1/5th of my chinese marks (which really seemed like eternity to me haha). I NEVER EVER want to go through that shit again. It really felt very terrible! So I guess from now on you will see me strongly believing in going to toilets before a paper ( I never used to think that was important haha)

Haha then after the paper about 8 of us went to jurong for a lunch then we all went to SJ’s house for random activities haha (A BIG THX TO HIM lol which without would have been a really fail afternoon!) so yea BIG THANK YOU, SJ! (I wasn’t that happy then not coz of anything else but the earlier mentioned reason ok haha) It was funny when we all changed into non-school related shirts already and went into the arcade but were later chased out coz of our sch pants (!!!) lol so shitty haha…stupid woman! Who said I couldn’t wear my school uniform pants when I go out (people poor- hv only 3 pairs of pants how? LoL )

haha ok lol so im gonna be really busy for teh next few days haha gt activities lined up everyday! some how that sounds fun but yet tiring at the same time....hmmmm. ok i guess i better start looking to the bright side now and stop brroding over my paper today hahaa. heres to brighter days ahead! haha hope this week will be fun! a good time of recuperating and time well spent with family and friends! cant wait! haha wheee....

Nalanji Airways And Sukhoi Announced New Order For Up To 10 SuperJet 100s

In what is, the aircraft's first non-russian order to be made public, shows further confirmation of confidence in the new russian made aircraft. This order also makes, Nalanji Airways International, the launch customer of this type in Asia-Pacific.

Nalanji’s national airline, Nalanji Airways International, signed on Monday, a firm multimillion-dollar agreement to buy five SuperJet 100-95s, with a further option for another 5.

Under the agreement signed in Narveda by Nalanji Airways International and the Russian aviation group Sukhoi, the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft will be delivered to the national carrier over the next five years. The first two deliveries are due to take place in late 2009.

Sukhoi, which is managed by another Russian citizen of Armenian descent, Mikhail Poghosian, has been better known for its military aircraft widely used by the air forces of Russia and many other states, including Armenia. The launch of the Sukhoi Superjet project in 2001 marked its entry into the civil aviation sector. The state-owned Russian firm set up a consortium with two Italian companies last June to embark on the mass manufacturing and sales of its first-ever civilian aircraft.

Joshua Tay, CEO, Nalanji Airways International, said his company, which has until now mainly relied on European-made Airbus jets and American, Boeing, opted for Sukhoi Superjet 100s despite the fact that have not been tested in the air yet. “We saw that this aircraft was what the company just needed, at the right time, with the right designs that will propel it into success in the coming years” Joshua told BBC. “Having looked at all of its parameters, we concluded that this is the kind of aircraft we need.”

Tay and Poghosian signed the purchase agreement in the presence of Prime Minister Joshua Tay and Russian Transport Minister Igor Levitin, who presided over a regular meeting of a Nalanji-Russian inter-governmental commission on economic cooperation. Joshua Tay hailed the deal as a further indication of growing economic ties between the two countries.

So today went rather smoothly i guess, though i gt stressed out durin the amath period coursewrok coz i couldnt firgure Q2 in the stipulated time! lol :) which i did la after a while....thank god lol :) and also coz my stupid graphmatica didnt want to save any of my files lol.

Yea, nothin much for today except that we had our first real lesson with ms kindergaten (as clementi puts it lol), and haha wht a ride it was! and kirby is now lucy! ;) i can see where this is goin lor....same as the way priyam was treated. no one was really listenin in class except for the front few, namely ZW, charles, weiyang, sj, and The Democratic Republic Of Nalanji and maybe kartik lol (since his being hit on by the teacher anyways)! ok lol i just finished filing my CAS and typing my AEFs and logs, after spending close to no less than 10 hrs on them.....lol, coz i was slackin here and there :) anyways, all that is needed are the signatures of the teachers.......oh noez can u imagine if they reject them!! :O shock! all my time! lol wasted.....oh well, they should approve la. i realized ive got close to 60 extra CAS hrs (no POC needed heehee... :) lol, anyone want to buy some? price is negotiable XD

kk anyways i forgot to tell u guys abt my mock piano exam on national day....well i passed....

oh yea, lol and once again, i was amazed at NDP'08, lol it gets me every single year, the performance of the NDP songs at teh last part and the fireworks always gets me amazed and wowing lol, and to a small extent (patriotic??) heehee....anyways..GO SINGAPORE!!! and also best ok luck to Tao Li tmr morning when she competes at the 100m butterfly FINALS!! at beijing, will be supporting her! u guys should too lol since this is the first time a "singaporean" got into teh swimming finals of any olympic!! oh btw shes only 18 and broke thee asian record twice, once on sat (at the heats) and anotehr time, today (at the semis). how pro rite! :) Go TaoLi! Singapore is behind u!! heehe hope she brings a medal home.....

so yea today we had celebrations is school for national day. lol the "connect singapore" totally failed haha so out of shape. anyways the best part was of coz, as u can guess, community screaming, oh did i say screaming? lol haha i luv screaming in these type of occasions. we were like screamin our hearts and lungs out lol and weiyang whacked me again :( lol anyways watch out charles....u and ur super dam high pitched voice (go challenge ryan in classs some day i wan to see which of u 2 higher heehee ;)

lol den after wards we clement and mart and i went vivo to hv lunch and watch money no enough. lol tht movie i tell u is a very VERY gd one :) the first part may be quite loose and maybe boring sometimes but after tht it caught up and became very moving at a number of occasions...hmmm how moving? haha to the point when we all cried? heehee yea its quite a sad and touching movie basically about filial piety to their very old and ever so kind, non-complaining mother who in the end sacrificed her life by pulling out her tube of life in the hospital jus so to safe her selfish's son's daughter, and of coz the theme of money not being enough la! so yea some funny parts but mostly touchy moments. ok i shall not spoil it further but i reccomend it to every one!! lol go watch it coz it will not be a waste of money.

i found out that i actually learnt quite a few lessons from this movie! yay like how family is money and many more realizations and understanding of how old people actually feel when treated in such a bad way (like in the show one of her sons made her stay in the toilet and live there, so there was this scene when she as jus basically home alone , as her son and wife and daughter went out for a movie, and she was sitting on the toilet bowl stuffing herself with vegetables (presumably her dinner),and sobbing quietly, and because when u grow old you tend to lose control over your bladder she sat there without her pants so tht if she pee-ed she wouldn’t get scolded or anything, the worst thing is that she never complained or anything and just said that everything was fine for fear of troubling her children.) how sad rite? lol so yea remember to always rmbr how much your parents sacrifice for u and next time before u talk back or get angry at them, think twice. so yea this are like a few of the lessons ive manage to lean from this movie of abt 2hrs. so go watch it!! before it disappears from the cinemas.

lol anyways there was this stupid jerk tht punched wenkai during the charity cafe. gd thing fkm was there, like how coincidental la! lol of coz tht guy gt screwed uoside down lol haha retribution. some people reallly ar......haiz.

anyways today i did my bio presentation. though i was pissed with her for being so "inflexible" in a sense, lol im happy coz all my courseowrkzz for now, are DONE!! yay!! :) smilezzz....

Miss Priyam is leaving....Her gentle ways have touched me

Well basically you should have been there when michael recited teh poem written by the ever so pro in lit, chindian (weiyang in case u didnt noe i was referin to him) lol. i dont noe but it was the first time i ever felt so touched by a poem. i dont noe whether its coz michael read it or beacues of the sad reason of why shes leavin (we were bad, i was bad to her :( , or jus coz of the words. she looked very very touched like almost gonna cry, and for me this was the first time lol i tot i felt my heart responding to the poem i dunno how to say it but.....oh well, it was a very touching scene, with michael infront of a bunch of us outside the staff room facing madam and reciting it to her line by line. each line seemed to be so full of meaning, like really an explosion of feelingz and emotionz.

ok after which we presented to her an address book tht ben brought and yea im very very sure she was touched lol. den she came to our class and took a pic of all of us (well, 0ne thrid of the class) coz the otehrs were at the SAC lol. anyways heres the wonderful poem by weiyang:

ok maybe when u read this poem u may not feel wht i described (very hard to put it in words) but when read out by michael i dont noe, but it sounded perfect!) lol. lol anyways congrats to Ms chia and mdm yong for becomin DPs of our sch (qoute drong: godly number attained :)

anyways back to the point abt this post. today after sch at abt 5.30 i took 74 to sunset way and then waited there for bus 75 to come, which eventually came like after 5 mins. ok when we were boarding teh bus there appeared this rather on teh round side guy abt 40+years old (malay guy) but not really fat (which is why i gt angry as u will read later) who literaly pushed aside teh woman that was in front of him so that he could board first. that women fell down and he didnt give a hoot.

i was behind tht jerk and so boarded after him. in the bus, there were no emtpty seats except for the 2 side by side right in the front. needless to say tht guy took them and after fitting in into the left seat, he saw me moving towards the empty one next to him and staright away he put his huge thigh (im tellin u HUGE) onto half of the other seat!! like wtp! so he had 1 half seats now. i decided to still sit down on teh half. as i sat he told me to get off (mumbled that), so i pretended to not hear it. after which i politely asked him to "pls move in", which as u can guess he daoed and continued using his hp and not moving. lol this really pissed me off. it was not his bus, not his seat, not his right after all!

so i began to try to provoke him lol. i pretended to dig into my bag to look for smth and everytime i moved my arm while "looking" for something i would swing my elbow very abruptly and hit his arm taht was holding his handphone (which was protruding over half my body- so fat!), so taht in the end for abt 2 mins it was like continous hitting him so he could not hold his hp still lol. so i think he gt a little pissed, but still didnt budge his big body.

so since i couldnt move him i decided to just stick with teh situation and work it out. lol i decided to go forward, (his arm becomes behind my back) and tehn use it as a cushoin lol , which btw worked very well coz of al the fats :) lol anyways so yea i was leaning on his arm for teh rest of teh journey so that i coudl at least sit decently with some space, untill all of a sudden he bumped me up with all his strength lol i almost fell outta my seat! tht time i became so pissed i just tried to push him back into his own seat! (which of coz is totally impossible given his size) lol so i was liek a applyin immense pressure on him until i felt liek i felt his breathing like yuck lolso fat....but i was srsyly pissed so much so tht i could inflict this much hurt on a total stranger, mind you i was oushing in his body quite powerfully lol.

anyways after a while he relented a bit and got a little more space to at least sit properly for teh remaining time of the bus journey. tehn as i left lol i left him a piece of paper (threw it on his big fat lap), lol i had written on tht piece of paper during teh time when i gt peace. so i put it infront of him and deboarded my bus....hmmm ill not say wht i wrote lol but yea i got off and im still pissed with him lol.

Nalanji Airways , has signed a firm order with Airbus for the acquisition of two A330-200 Freighter aircraft. An engine choice has not been made yet. The two aircraft will be part of a leasing deal with A330-200F customer, BOC Aviation, (formerly known as SALE- Singapore Aircraft Leasing Enterprise), with deliveries of its first A330-200F starting in late 2010.

With an important cargo market potential, Nalanji Airways intends to establish direct links between Nalanji and long haul markets such as North America, India, China, Japan and South-East Asia.

“By opting for the A330-200F for our operations, we start with the most modern cargo aircraft available on the market in its category. The A330-200F offers superior economics, operational flexibility and overall better value for money what made it the logical choice for Alis and its shareholders,” said Joshua Tay, founder and CEO of Nalanji Airways . “We are fully convinced that the A330-200 Freighter aircraft will greatly contribute to our development plans and allow us to operate the most modern and efficient fleet of cargo aircraft in Italy”.

Airbus Chief Operating Officer Customers, John Leahy said, “We are proud to have been selected as Nalanji Airways ’s strategic partner in this exciting new project with our all-new A330-200F. This is another endorsement for our game changing A330 Freighter and a recognition of the opportunities the A330F offers carriers who want to run a flexible and optimized freighter operation on mid to long haul routes”.

The A330-200F is the latest addition to the very popular A330 Family of which over 540 aircraft are presently in service with more than 70 operators worldwide. This extensive operator base will greatly facilitate the entry into service of the new all-cargo variant into existing A330 fleets. As for all Airbus aircraft currently in production, the A330-200F will also benefit from Airbus’ unique full operational commonality. The now well recognised Airbus Fly-By-Wire technology also enables faster pilot transitioning to and from other Airbus aircraft, both passenger and freighter.

The A330-200F can carry up to 64 metric tonnes over 4,000 nautical miles/7400 km in its standard version. When selecting the optional payload mode operators can carry 69 metric tonnes up to 3,200 nautical miles/5930km. These range and payload capabilities will enable operators to grow their business by opening up or extending cargo routes currently operated. Thanks to an optimized fuselage cross-section, it has the interior flexibility to carry a wide variety of pallet and container sizes for maximum interlining capability, offering 30 percent more volume than any freighter in its class. Total firm orders for the aircraft stand at 77 from nine customers.
